Moogies operates The Dinton Hermit, a countryside pub with dining, meeting rooms and eight bedrooms, and The Black Boy, a historic village pub known for great food, stunning views and a warm welcome. Both venues offer seasonal menus, local produce and a relaxed, characterful atmosphere.

We’re privately owned, community‑focused and driven by a genuine commitment to doing things the right way. Our pubs are restored with care, our teams are supported to grow, and our decisions are made with long‑term sustainability in mind. We invest in our venues, our people and our local communities - not shareholders.

Moogies Being Mindful is our sustainability pledge. It covers everything from reducing waste and recycling to energy efficiency, responsible sourcing, biodiversity and community support. We grow our own produce, work with ethical suppliers and operate on 100% renewable electricity. Our efforts were recognised with the Buckinghamshire Business First Net Zero Ambition Award 2023.

Community is central to who we are. We support local charities, run book clubs, host charity quiz nights, showcase local artists, employ locally and offer our Moogies Giveback Scheme, giving 10% off food and drink to key workers. We also partner with Heart of Bucks and regularly take part in local fundraising events.

Yes - Moogies provides a commercial laundry service for local businesses. We wash, dry and press items such as linens, towels and uniforms, using eco‑friendly products and energy‑efficient processes. Collection and delivery are available in the local area, and quotes are quick and tailored.

We employ around 75 people across our pubs and offer roles in the kitchen, front of house, management and support teams. We work with Buckinghamshire College Group on apprenticeships and provide training, staff parties, annual awards and a staff discount scheme.
